Do you know it’s only when you or someone belonging to you is in hospital that you realise how poor the shower room facilities are, particularly in the acute sector.
This has sent me on a mission to improve the situation not only for the patient but for the caregivers also.
Let me introduce you to the Triton Dual Shower/Commode Chair.
No more bending down to wash the patient. Powered by a built in battery the patient can be brought up to your level. It has dual motors, a Hi/Lo and a tilt in space function +7◦̊/ – 30◦.
The soft seat provides comfort for the patient and the height allows eye contact with the carer. The Triton is not only a shower and commode chair. It can be multifunctional for e.g. with the headrest removed it can be tilted back over a hairdressers sink for washing, cutting and blow drying hair.
It can also be used for chiropody purposes and leg dressings. We are having very positive feedback on the Triton, already in use in care of the elderly and disability services.
